Happy Monday!

Monday, April 18, 2016

Hey guys! Another week down in April, another week closer to BEA *evil laughs and pretends like I don't feel some anxiety over the whole trip* So if you're going, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I would love to, 1. meet all you because you're wonderful and, 2. HAVE PEOPLE TO TALK TOO. Thankfully, my mom is coming with because I forced her too, so I'll have someone to wait around with and talk too, but I primarily want to meet everyone that I can! I'm re-dying the ends of my hair pink, so I'll be the short blonde girl with hot pink tips :)

Read Last Week
Elementals: The Blood of the Hydra by Michelle Madow
Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson

To-read
No One Else Can Have You by Kathleen Hale
Re-reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

Happy readings! :)

  1. Ahhh you're going to BEA? That's so awesome, I wish I could go! Unfortunately, I don't live in the USA so it's harder for me to go to events... Maybe next year (if I save enough money and have someone to go with because let's face it, I would totally get lost haha)!

I tried reading Second Chance Summer but stopped because I really wasn't into it. But I did read Amy and Roger's Epic Detour a few months ago and it got me a little bit more motivated to try Second Chance Summer again!
I still have to read The Raven Boys but I'm a bit intimidated by it haha, I don't know why! Hopefully I will read it soon because I feel like it's a really interesting story!

I hope you had a lovely week! :)

    1. Yes! Awh, you would definitely find someone to go with! Hell, I'd go with you. It's in Chicago this year, but next year it's back in New York, so we can be lost together hahaha.
I haven't read Amy and Rogers Epic Detour (I plan too very soon!), but I'm glad you liked it. Second Chance Summer was definitely more darker, but I still loved it. I totally get why you didnt get into it; it took me almost to the halfway point to really get into it and enjoy reading from Taylor's POV. But after that I was sucked in! And oh man, with all the rave reviews, I could see how The Raven Boys could be intimidating. I was too at first! I hope you read it soon :)

Thank you, I hope you did too!
