It's killing me. I just finished reading Glass Sword and as I was reading the alternate ending I was fuming because I thought this was the last book and I can't believe it ended like that. I did find out there's two more coming out but I'm still freaking confused about the alternate ending!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07644825788624007783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3313594229875495734.post-36957340867782787812016-03-11T14:46:03.194-08:002016-03-11T14:46:03.194-08:00Woohoo! Okay, so the first one, which is an alternate ending to Red Queen, shows them walking to the train instead of Mare being passed out the whole time and waking up in Shades lap. They get there, and just as Farley opens up the doors, everyone freezes. Like, time stops. Mare freaks out, and Shade suddenly pops up, but he's 10 years older, and he's saying something to a 10-years-old Mare, who's saying something back to him. Present day Mare thinks she's dreaming and passes out as Shade grabs her. So the next alternate scene, which is the opening to Glass Sword, Mare wakes up in this strange place and it turns out that Shade can actually control time, not jump, and he had taken Mare out of her present day and replaced her with 28 year old Mare so she can stop some war from happening. And then it jumps into 28-year-old Mares head, who's in the train like normal at the beginning of Glass Sword, and she's thinking about how Farley dies 3 years from now and how Mare ends up killing Cal because he goes crazy. It was the WEIRDEST thing I've ever read and I don't understand why they added that in there. It literally changes the whole story! I'm wondering if that was an old plot line she had going? I tweeted at her but she didn't respond, and I'm not sure if she explains it anywhere. I died. Seriously one of me fave quotes!
I also believe there's more to Maven, but I'm scared cause I love Cal too much!!

What were those alternate chapters about?
